The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for development and support of Human Resources applications globally. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical engineer with strong experience in Java, in-depth knowledge of data structures with a background preferably in the HR Domain . The Senior Engineer should be able to effectively provide guidance in design and development, establishing standards where applicable and ensure timely delivery with highest quality working with the Team. In that role, this individual will be also interacting with business partners in many parts of the world, in order to deliver an optimal experience for all employees, globally

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for development and support of Human Resources applications globally. 

  • Experience building custom application or exposure with implementation of enterprise applications
  • 7+ years of related experience, with a minimum of 3 years working in Java/J2EE with strong database experience
  • Strong work expertise in Java/J2EE enterprise portal development
  • Expertise in Human Resource functional is a plus especially around Time Evaluation, Payroll and Compensation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; track record of success collaborating in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree  or equivalent experience required, preferably in Management Information Systems


Skills & Experience

  • Experience with large software implementations in heavily used systems
  • Knowledge of database and custom framework or relevant Java application development
  • Working experience with Spring framework/Spring Boot or relevant, REST APIs, Custom Web services integration
  • Kronos, Workday technical experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members, and management leaders.
  • Adaptability and attitude to learn new technology is needed
  • Proven communication and consultancy skills (writing, oral, and presentation), identifying and communicating changes to design and our online strategy across all HR self-service technologies
