The Enterprise Process Services (EPS) team that is a part of the Core Platform Infrastructure (CPI) team in PayPal is looking for a MTS 1 Software Engineer as a part of the Crawler Team

  • As a part of the EPS Organisation's Crawler Team you will be working with a team of strong engineers that solves multiple business problems for PayPal's different Product Teams
  • The Crawler Team crawlers several millions of sites for various business use cases that are used for Competitive Analysis, Brand Protective, Risk & Fraud Protection, etc.,

Skills Needed

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable web services and platforms.
  • Strong in Java & REST based Services Implementation
  • Experience in providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Knowledge in Scala is a plus
  • Should be able to come up with creative and innovative solutions that contributes to the Roadmap of the Product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
  • BS in computer science or equivalent
