Scope of Position: As a member of the Merchant Live Analytics Team, you will be responsible to act as a subject matter expert for Seller Risk segments (Micro, Business and Commercial) and to interact with different levels of partners and leadership to provide data driven solutions and visual infights for our business and customers that support the SRS strategy and goals. You will provide E2E quantitative and qualitative reviews on: fraud trends, large losses, executive escalations, root cause analysis, process improvements, test and learns, and risk indicator effectiveness to prevent loss and enable merchant business and improve customer using experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide qualitative and quantitative assessments on seller risk loss & experience areas including trends, tagging, model evaluation, process mapping/automation, EE etc.
  • Review seller risk leads, system anomalies and process relative issues (business generated/self-identified)
  • Conduct complex proactive E2E reviews based on risk indicators, complete root cause analyses, prevent loss and enable business
  • Act as SME for Seller Risk (Micro, Business and Commercial Segmentations)
  • Partner with key stakeholders for educating, coaching and enhancing risk detections, reporting and analytics

  • Think E2E understand the Merchant Lift Cycle
  • Connect the dots of the “merchant story” to understand the big picture
  • Wear several “hats” – Risk, Relationship manager, Sales, Negotiator, and Investigator

Balanced Approach:

  • Credit and fraud; On and off PayPal; Risk aspects and Merchant experience
  • Industry risk idiosyncrasies
  • Global awareness via process alignment and economy implications
  • Data analyst relative experience is a plus
  • Proficient with data analytics tools like SQL/MicroStrategy/SAS .etc. is a plus

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ year experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: Customer Support, Financial Services, Fraud Investigation, Credit Risk, Transaction Processing, or Chargeback Processing
  • Proven customer communication experience (E-mail & Phone)
  • Fluent in English and Regional Language
