The Credit Marketing Team is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support marketing programs across the customer lifecycle, including go-to-market support for new initiatives, across Credit products (PayPal Credit and cobrand cards). In this role, you will partner with diverse cross-functional teams and external partners to strategize, execute, monitor and deliver results for PayPal Credit. A successful candidate will have a customer-focused approach, incorporate a strategic and analytical view, integrate creativity, and be highly effective at communicating with business partners. You must have the ability to succeed in a heavily matrixed environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with internal and external partners in a positive, productive, and transparent way.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of marketing programs across the customer lifecycle for PayPal Credit and cobrand card products.  Additionally, support go-to-market initiatives for new products, features and pricing initiatives across the Credit portfolio.
  • Develop campaign and program strategies, segmentation, and creative, ensure flawless execution, and measure and monitor program results for effectiveness.  Partner with the Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Marketing Operations, Product, Risk, and Merchant teams along with external agencies and Synchrony in executing marketing programs.
  • Participate in quarterly strategy and planning sessions with business partners across the enterprise.  Coordinate marketing calendars to ensure an optimal customer contact strategy and customer experience.
  • Support content refresh strategies for existing websites including product education microsites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years marketing experience, preferably direct-to-consumer.
  • Ability to operate and thrive in a fluid, ever changing environment. 
  • Proactive in approach with flawless execution amongst multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.
  • Conscientious, curious, hard-working individual who craves accountability, loves to solve complex problems and puts the customer first in everything he/she does.
  • Comfortable in using data to draw insights and generate strategies
  • Consumer Credit marketing experience preferred. Understanding of the financial services, financial tech and payments industry/ecosytem a plus. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
