The PayPal Small Business team is looking for a driven, self-motivated, B2B Activation and Early Life Cycle marketing manager. The successful candidate will thrive in a cross-functional organization and can collaborate with various teams to enable Small Businesses through PayPal’s various products and partner platforms.

The candidate will have broad based multi-channel marketing experience (web, digital, email, social, direct mail, telesales, etc.) The role will require a deep level understanding of the product experience and policies that impact new merchant customers and how marketing can improve the early lifecycle experience.

Key KPIs include: 1) Driving incremental activations and engagement from new business account sign ups. 2) Creating and executing successful campaigns (measuring channel performance and ROI) 3) Developing an onboarding experience for product habituation.

Key Responsibilities 

  • End to end responsibility - strategy creation to campaign project management
  • Develop segment and campaign strategies with clear rationale and insights - create meaningful and engaging content, which addresses merchant’s needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other cross functional groups and represent Marketing to create a best in class new small business customer experience.
  • Work with Analytics to develop business cases/projected ROI, test design and channel selection (web, digital, email, direct mail, social) and share marketing improvements made.
  • Manage campaign execution process with cross-functional teams (analytics, brand, legal, campaign ops)
  • Lead creative development and review with internal stakeholders
  • Manage campaign reporting, analysis and post-mortem optimization suggestions to derive actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value.
  • Create internal launch announcements and provide senior leadership update as appropriate.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
