We are looking for a stellar Marketing Manager to drive bottom line growth, by bringing challenging ideas, and passionately executing them.


A typical day for the Marketing Manager, Xoom will include:

• Owning and pitching your campaign proposals internally (to US Xoom and Europe Leadership) as well as externally, including campaign budgets and target results
• Responsibility for Xoom marketing programs in Europe, targeting our active consumers and new acquisitions, increasing their engagement levels
• Leading marketing communications for Xoom in Europe, including UK
• Briefing and working closely with our media agencies to launch campaigns
• Oversee the execution of campaigns from start to finish
• Working closely with Xoom teams based in San Francisco, Global Shared Resource teams based in San Jose, New York, as well as with Leadership teams in Europe and UK
• Following guidance from and providing feedback to Xoom Marketing Managers based in San Francisco
• Cultivating relationships with PayPal Leadership in Europe and UK as well as in US


Position guidelines:

• The position sits within the Xoom Marketing Team based in San Francisco
• Works closely with Territory Managers, Digital, CRM, Brand, Business Development, PR, Customer Service, Risk, Product, Legal, and Analytics
• Works closely with PayPal Marketing and Leadership teams based in UK and Europe
• You will work closely with media agencies as well as our Brand team, in order to generate, develop and launch campaigns which will drive bottom line results, as well as brand comprehension, value proposition and customer lifecycle
• You will give feedback and insights to Xoom Marketing team and departments on any of the projects that target UK and Europe, ensuring that they are culturally relevant and respect the Xoom and PayPal tone of voice and design guideline
• You will drive local insights in terms of value proposition, and marketing channels
• You will work with the marketing leads on the marketing plans for the region

Responsibilities:


• Launch Xoom service in UK and Europe

• Drive exponential growth on all remittance corridors from UK and Europe - meet or exceed budget expectations

• Collaborate with Xoom Marketing teams, as well as PayPal Europe Marketing teams

• Constantly develop and execute new customer activation plans and retention tactics, within budget

• Constantly report on business findings, insights and provide business recommendations

• Translate ideas to actionable items that deliver business results

• Lead the detailed media planning budget and execution

• Earn the confidence of the Leadership team by demonstrating success in the plans you deploy, and being articulate in your analysis and forecasting



Requirements:


• Strong understanding of multicultural media and consumers with relevant marketing experience to immigrant communities

• Proven experience delivering bottom line results

• Demonstrate delivering a forecast within budget

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)

• Able to back up recommendations using data

• Very strong results orientation

• High standards of excellence and attention to detail

• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

• Intellectually curious and driven by results
