The Market Development Manager will report to Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan Market Development Lead based in Hong Kong, to play a critical part in helping the market development team scale and execute on its key strategic growth priorities, as well as supporting the sales team in removing roadblocks and achieving revenue targets. It will be a highly cross-functional role with exposure to senior management and direct ownership of some of the most impactful and exciting projects that the market development team will be executing on to drive long term sustainable growth for the business. The ideal candidate has significant experience in leading and managing complex business initiatives with multiple stakeholders, great business acumen, strong analytical skills, hands on operational experience and excellent communication skills with the ability to distill ideas into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as an enabler for Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan leadership team by leading & executing key strategic initiatives and ongoing market development that are critical to achieve long term growth, and also deliver against in-year targets.

Examples include:

  • Developing and accelerating growth of HKT
  • Driving strategic partnerships and initiatives
  • Supporting overall planning and execution of business strategy
  • Aligning overall business operations with markets across CBT (enabling team to stay focus on sales activities and execution)
  • Exploring opportunities from unmanaged revenue streams
  • Acting as a bridge between BU and functional teams to develop and share best practices

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience, with at least 3-5 years in Payments, eCommerce, Financial Services industry
  • Experience in business development, program management, planning & analysis role
  • Education: Degree or above
  • Language: English, Cantonese & Mandarin
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office
