PayPal is looking for a Manager of Web Optimization and Reporting. This role is based in San Jose on the US Web Channel Team. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and design gaps with the goal of improving revenue and the overall conversion rate on the US PayPal.com site. You will also be striving to enhance the user experience, optimize for search, and increasing the findability of key products and solutions.

You will drive user testing and make optimization recommendations based on test data. You will also provide insights and guidance on the overall functionality of the website.

Analyzing visitor behavior and site performance, designing/executing effective and measurable tests that drive incrementality and then determining concrete actions should be second nature for you. Setting up web dashboards and regular reporting of results to insure that the US PayPal.com site is continually improving are also a key functions of this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Translate insights into clear direction to agencies which would guide the wireframing/prototyping process.
  • Identify design problems and recommend elegant solutions.
  • Inform strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions/features.
  • Develop website testing strategy and manage roadmap of tests.
  • Monitor KPIs and report on site performance, always looking for actionable insights and making recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of UX analysis experience.
  • Expert level in web analytics and proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Site Catalyst.
  • Understanding of industry best practices around UX testing and optimization, as well as understanding of best in class tools.
  • Experience with flow analysis, click mapping and data mapping.
  • Understand how to build easy to read yet insightful dashboards.
  • Have owned an A/B and multivariate testing program.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet stakeholder’s needs and vision.
