The Manager, Workplace Violence Prevention and Threat Analysis, is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing solutions in respect to the protection and safeguarding of personnel, information and other assets with a high focus on challenges outside the United States. The efforts by this Manager can help prevent and mitigate incidents of violence in the workplace while administering a program focused on building capacity within the Company to detect, assess and manage potential or current workplace violence situations. This position will serve as the proxy/delegate in the absence of the Director of Threat Analysis and Workplace Violence. This experienced, hands-on role will foster an inclusive culture where safety and security values and practices are integrated into the fabric of this fast-paced and innovative business environment.

 Position Responsibilities: 

  • Specialist Competencies:  

  • Extensive experience with workplace violence prevention threat assessment/management, including coordinating, planning, consulting and delivering time sensitive mitigation solutions  

  • Experience with creating and administering content to support workplace violence prevention program(s) which include the design, organization and delivery of effective training to key stakeholders  

  • Knowledge of and experience leading highly visible workplace violence incidents on short or no notice; thoughtful deliberation and collaboration with business leaders, HR Business Partners, Legal and others is required. 

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate current and emerging workplace violence risks/threats  

  • Experience with managing workplace violence prevention programs in highly governed and regulated geographies to include Ireland, Germany, Australia, etc. 

  • Management Competencies:  

  • Literacy and a passion for conducting research in trends, incidents and case studies in areas outside of North America 

  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of the balance between business and security. 

  • Strong collaboration/communication skills, commanding the attention/confidence of others 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading all aspects of complex workplace violence situations 

  • Ability to effectively solicit, engage and problem solve with key stakeholders and partners with a proven track record of incorporating adaptive thought, irrespective of source and in situations where it’s contrary to one’s own perspective  

  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate and manage a volume of varied operational issues/tasks and escalations in addition to case and program management. 

  • Ability to effectively and professionally represent oneself in interactions with Executive Staff and their support teams.  

  • Developed and strong program/project management skills/experience. 

  • Ability to communicate complex issues and prepare/deliver high-level briefings and presentations  

  • Exhibits pragmatism in delivering services and driving results 

  • Ability to generate and apply creative and innovative solutions. 

  • Extremely detail oriented. 

  •  Operational Competencies:  

  • Working knowledge of MS Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) 

  • Adobe Acrobat 

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. 

  • Ability and willingness to be available 24/7 as needed 

 

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills: 

REQUIRED 

  • 6-8 years of relevant, practical experience in the assessment and mitigation of threats and acts of violence, preferably both in traditional and virtual environments  

  • Education minimum is a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the criminal, psychological or fintech disciplines 

PREFERRED 

  • Professional certification(s) related to workplace violence prevention and/or threat risk assessments 

  • Education MS/MA/MBA from a criminal, psychological or sociological discipline 

  • Active membership in professional associations related to safety, threat assessment and compliance 

  • Work or study abroad experience 

  • Working proficiency in a non-English language
