PayPal’s In-Store Marketing team is responsible for the B2B and B2C marketing efforts supporting all of PayPal’s initiatives in offline environments (IRL ). We are seeking a super smart, team first, high energy marketer with both digital and traditional media experience to lead planning and buying across all of our paid channels. This role will be instrumental in defining best practices for full funnel media excellence within PayPal from the ground up.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of In Store Marketing, the Manager, In Store Media will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of our media strategy, planning and buying, execution and optimization – working closely with our internal teams and agency partners.
  • End to end ownership of our marketing budget including ongoing projections, tracking and reporting. 
  • Working with larger marketing team to develop highly integrated full funnel marketing plans across paid, earned and owned channels.
  • Partnering closely with our analytics team to facilitate ongoing measurement of the impact of our initiatives.
  • Contributing to streamline workflow, process management and interdependent relationships with other team members.
  • Working lockstep with finance to ensure proper contractual documentation and media billing reconciliation.


Requisite Experience

  • 7+ years experience in digital and traditional paid media planning and/or buying.
  • Proven experience in budget management and oversight, linkage of investment to growth strategies.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing and comms strategies. 
  • Capabilities in developing insight led test and learn approach across end to end funnel for customer and business impact.
  • Can partner, influence and thrive in a matrixed organization with an ability to present to stakeholders with gravitas and confidence.
  • Consumer and merchant segment background preferred.
  • Payments, Retail and/or In Store experience highly valued.
  • International experience preferred.
