• Managing and optimizing existing Payments Product & Engineering products for China, Hong Kong and Macau markets • Supporting introduction of new market payment opportunities and funding sources • Managing PayPal’s relationships with external payments partners (banks, processors, networks) in China • Working with the segment and sales & marketing teams, to support growth, and consulting on strategic elements that impact payments • Report directly to, and supports, the Director, International Markets Payments, Greater China

  • Develop and execute payment strategy for the PRC and interact as a member of the PRC management team with a focus on developing a fully compliant payment service provider license in China. This includes the high-level product design, the evaluation of competitive and regulatory issues as well as the assessment, integration and ongoing management of external partners.
  • Support cross functional teams like Product, Finance and Legal as PayPal continues to localise it’s payment business in the PRC
  • Identify new payment related initiatives / opportunities that enable business expansion in China business unit and / or lower transaction expenses
  • Support implementation of new payment initiatives / opportunities /partnerships
  • Support launch of PayPal’s in-store V/Mastercard card issuance solutions in Hong Kong
  • Mange relationship with existing and new partners/payment service access providers
  • Support sales & marketing teams, key segments (consumer, small business, mid-market and large enterprise), customer support teams on core payments related matters.

Support implementation of PayPal’s Retail Bank Partnership strategy through negotiation of closer integration with Chinese banks.
