PayPal leverages extensive experimentation strategies to continually improve our products. We are seeking a talented Experimentation leader to help grow the business and improve customer experience KPIs via A/B/Multivariate testing. You will work with cross-functional Product, Marketing, Engineering teams across PayPal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experimentation Skills
    • Develop A/B/Multivariate testing and targeting strategies to achieve business objectives
    • Work with cross-functional teams to build world-class products and design hypothesis-driven experiments; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results
    • Execute key test initiatives and build best practices for conducting tests
    • Build companywide experimentation trainings and best practices
    • Centralize knowledge management of test hypothesis and final outcomes
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead a team of experimentation analysts. Provide technical guidance to the team on established and emerging experimentation and statistical methodologies
    • Conduct rigorous data analysis, track and report KPIs in scalable manner using scripting languages, R, Python and visualization tools such as Tableau, QlickView
    • Present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership team
    • Collaborate with technology partners to drive platform scalability and innovation

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of people management, mentorship and leadership experience
  • MS in Statistics or Math preferred
  • Fluent in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview; experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python) and one or more Experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize)
  • Solid statistical knowledge ideally utilized in web/app experimentation context
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong business acumen
  • Impactful presentation & data visualizations skills to convey results clearly and concisely
