The PayPal Talent Development & Learning team is seeking an experienced, highly engaged and dynamic leader to join our team. This role will help to support PayPal employees on several development initiatives but will be particularly focused on re-imagining onboarding across the global employee population and managing the new hire orientation at PayPal HQ in San Jose. This role reports to the Director of Employee Development.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and management of professional development and employee engagement programs, including a new global new hire orientation program at PayPal
  • Facilitate and manage the new hire orientation program at PayPal HQ in San Jose
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the company to ensure relevant and impactful programming and curriculum
  • Create and launch new employee tools (dashboards, toolkits, on-demand trainings/FAQs, etc.) to support knowledge management and onboarding
  • Support the implementation/roll-out of company- wide development programs
  • Serve as a champion and change agent shaping the culture of the company
  • Event management.
  • Support various ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed

  • An ownership mentality – sees tasks through to completion.  Goes the extra step to proactively seek out answers to problems that may fall outside his/her area of expertise. 
  • A demonstrated understanding of how to develop, implement, and enhance processes. Eager to learn new things and apply knowledge to innovate, improve/simplify processes. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • At least 4-5 years prior relevant experience.  Experience working with large, geographically dispersed team preferred
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
