This position is for a manager role in the Enterprise Data Services Organization.

Identifies future technical trends and advises on appropriate contributions

Organization

Translates corporate strategy into comprehensive goals for their group members

Identifies improvement opportunities across the organization (e.g. source control system, TDD, Continuous integration, etc.)

Manages team metrics and reports to business leaders

Understands resource capacity of staff and lines up team members with new or changing demand

Identifies technical trends, opportunities and best practices and shares with the rest of the organization across teams and domains

Change management and environmental improvement; focus on improving overall systems for optimization

Maintains a close working relationship with Product Owners and peer Functional Managers

Ensures that releases are predictable and are of high quality

Enterprise Data Services organization provides data, platforms, reports, Analytics for various Business units in Paypal. This position requires hands technical and people management capabilities.


Have the ability to design and  oversee the development  to complex business problems, interact with virtual cross-functional teams. Candidates who are highly technical, passion for data & analytics, self-motivated, creative problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced manner.
