We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to join our financial intelligence team, with a positive attitude and a desire of combating money-laundering and terrorist financing in a high energy, fast paced, ever evolving atmosphere. The position will be based in our Guatemala City office.

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to join our financial intelligence team, with a positive attitude and a desire of combating money-laundering and terrorist financing in a high energy, fast paced, ever evolving atmosphere. The position will be based in our Guatemala City office.


Scope & Responsibility:

  • Provides direct supervision to a talented team of Compliance Analysts
  • Mentors, coaches and develops team members; demonstrates best practices, educates others in her/his area of expertise and leads cross-functional teams to complete a project
  • Clear subject matter expert on AML/CTF Typologies and Data Analysis
  • Works independently and proficiently on multiple assignments simultaneously with speed and quality
  • Keep up to date on AML/CTF typologies and understand potential impact on Xoom’s business
  • Lead projects focused on AML/CTF risk assessment and operational efficiency
  • Ready to roll up their sleeves to conduct deep dive analysis

Requirements:

  • BA w/ 3+ years management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years conducting or supervising analysis, research and investigations in a field related to Enhanced Due Diligence, Law Enforcement, Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, Internal Audit or similar
  • High proficiency in analytical skills
  • Champion in understanding internal and external business processes and data, system and flows, as well as processes and methodologies in their work domain
  • Ability to solve complex business problems through root cause data and behavioral analysis using findings to develop user stories and solutions
  • Ability to use critical thinking when proposing a solution for business problems
  • Always seeks out improvement and innovation opportunities that have a short-term and long-term impact on business.
