Credit & Financial Solutions Services (CFSS) is an integral part of PayPal’s core product offerings and post transaction resolution and protections. CFSS Business Enablement provides actionable business insight & meaningful programs in support of managing operations efficiently and growing the business effectively while providing world class customer experiences.

Responsible for designing, developing, and producing solutions for the Credit & Financial Services (CFSS) Organization within the Global Enterprise Services Business Unit.

Your responsibilities will focus on creating and tracking KPIs specific to CFSS, focused mainly on development and data extraction from the data warehouse to be used in reporting and analytical models. Additional responsibilities will include analysis and recommendations of projects, processes, or products to reduce operational costs and drive return on investment

The analyst will work independently in a team environment performing requirements gathering, SQL development, data analysis, documentation, test case definition, and collaboration across multiple business units and projects.


  • Work with business partners to correctly gather requirements and turn their ideas into quantifiable deliverables that help solve business issues
  •  Develop SQL queries and data models in Teradata and other platforms as required
  • Create dashboards and presentations through tools like Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel that summarize the analysis
  • Evaluate existing business KPIs and other business performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Project management as needed to help drive global initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with Workforce Management, Business Enablement, and other Analysts providing analysis and recommendations to business customers and leadership
  • Complete work assignments in a timely manner

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated working knowledge of relational database systems/concepts/SQL writing.  They will offer strategic perspective, sound business judgment, analytical capabilities, and possess a collaborative working style.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree will be considered with equivalent work experience)
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a SQL development environment
  • Prior experience in working with large data and analytical tools. Experience with Teradata and/or Tableau is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand, simplify, and communicate complex business concerns
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
