The Business Development Manager will play an important role in helping Business Development Reps setup sales appointments for our Large Enterprise Sales team in EMEA. This role’s core responsibility is to develop, coach, and inspire a team of BDRs to identify merchants in the Large Enterprise segment. The BDR Manager will achieve this by leading a best-in-class sales team to effectively promote PayPal’s unique value proposition and act as a customer champion.

  • Deliver and exceed targets/other KPIs.
  • Create and maintain a strong sales culture focused on performance and positive merchant experience.
  • Conduct 1-1 coaching to continuously improve sales capability and develop growth mindset in the sales team.
  • Drive sales discipline including performance & pipeline reporting through team meetings, 1-1s, and performance management process.
  • Attract and retain talent by focusing on personal career development.
  • Develop and execute against the EU sales strategy by working closely with other business leaders.
  • Work with other internal teams such as Account Based Marketing, Account Management, Enablement, and Operations, to optimize sales process efficiencies.
  • Work closely with regional and global teams to share and implement best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Min. 2 years sales team management
  • Experience working with Account Based Marketing
  • Experience working with Outreach
  • Proven track record in building successful sales teams, ability to coach and inspire others.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, eCommerce and payment industry experience preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in English and either French or German
