This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional to join a young & successful team in a dynamic and fast paced growth environment. You will become part of the India Mid Market outside sales team tasked with securing acceptance of PayPal across a broad range of organizations that sell online. The successful candidate will be highly effective in navigating the customer through all facets of the sales process from prospect prioritization through to technical integration and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver a value based sales proposition. The person will help to accelerate the number of merchants that will accept PayPal across different verticals including goods & services operating in the online space. This individual will lead the formation of a strong regional mid market sales team and help shape, implement, and manage the organization’s sales plan and strategy. You will be part of the India Mid Market management team

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with IN Mid Market leadership team to define the merchant segmentation, prioritization , selection & on boarding strategy
  • End-to-end on-boarding of mid market merchants onto Paypal platform from lead generation to commercial negotiations, technical integration & closing.
  • Managing a large regional field sales force, responsible for meeting monthly business targets.
  • Planning for the consistent growth in key business metrics in line with company objectives, as well as providing an accurate weekly forecast of opportunities.
  • Monitor and align daily activities of team members to ensure key deliverable  and pipeline management
  • Work with marketing, customer experience & other teams to plan & execute promotion and merchandizing plans for partner merchants
  • Coordinate & collaborate with various internal stake holders to drive alignment of business objectives and successful execution of plans.
  • Develop a feedback loop to ensure constantly improving experience for partner merchants / brands
  • Over time, will be required to set up regional sales offices and hire and mentor new business development leaders. Plan for the growth & development of team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of sales and marketing experience,
  • 4+ years in leadership and management
  • 4+ years of successful eof selling digital experience solutions
  • Experience setting up sales processes
  • Solid understanding of the automated marketing space, especially as it pertains to the retail and e-commerce industry
  • A consistent track record of signing mid enterprise-level customers and demonstrated history of exceeding sales target
  • Consultative sales style and excellent core sales skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey issues clearly, and concisely
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis (up to 30% travel time)
  • Must have experience of managing large, pan regional sales team with strong leadership and team management skills
  • Graduate with an MBA from an accredited university
