The Legal Liaison delivers a high level of service to both the Internal and External legal services for PayPal’s commercial collections. This includes providing supporting to the Recoveries and Collections departments as well as the outside agencies.
You are the type of person who enjoys fixing persistent problems and the legal process. You like to analyse situations and share with multiple team to everyone can make better decisions. On this team, you will focus on innovations that improve our internal processes.


  • Provide testimony as a subject matter expert for all commercial products
  • Analyse all accounts to validate breaches and defaults in accordance with the guidance provided by management and our legal team
  • Detail breaches of specific representations made at the time of application for allegations of fraud and bad intent.  Specifically in non-discharge actions
  • Develop methods and procedures on new assignments and drive special projects. 
  • Provide feedback to management on any and all concerns with performance
  • Manage critical processes related to outsourced accounts
  • Audit legal all accounts for coverage as well as opportunities for  process improvement
  • Prepare and filing proof of claims as they relate to each specific product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, creativity and skill in delivering practical solutions
  • Work well independently and in a group
  • Highly proficient computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Basic collections process and product knowledge
  • Up to 3 years of litigation experience preferred
  • Prior experience testifying in an depositions and hearings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Some overnight travel will be required
  • Excellent written and communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete repetitive tasks
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
