The Learning Experience Specialist (LES) based in Manila will be responsible for delivering a range of training for Global Customer Operations (GCO) teammates to help them understand PayPal business model, PayPal product, processes and industry knowledge. The training includes new hire training, Up-Skilling, refresher, soft skills and ad hoc training deliverables. He/she will work on cross-functional improvement projects as well as global projects to drive the business KPIs. He/she will also need to collaborate with global training team and cross-functional teams and acts as a SME for GCO. Areas of focus include developing and delivering training, project management, training needs identification, assessment of the effectiveness of training, coaching, facilitation and review of key customer metrics.

Summary:

The Learning Business Partner (LBP) based in Manila will be responsible for leading Manila training team to support Global Customer Operations (GCO) teammates training. The training includes new hire (teammates) training, new business leader onboarding, upskill, refresher, soft/professional skills and ad hoc training deliverables. The LBP will work on cross-functional improvement projects as well as global projects to drive the business KPIs. He/she will also need to collaborate with global training team and cross-functional teams and acts as a SME for GCO. Areas of focus include leadership topics delivering to new and existing team leaders, design and developing training programs, project management, training needs identification, assessment of the effectiveness of training, coaching, facilitation and review of key customer metrics. The LBP may also require to work with Manila local training vendors in managing the training programs and classes facilitated by the vendor trainers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships and provide consultation to stakeholders related to learning needs to solve business and development needs
  • Deliver leadership training topics and programs to the new team leaders
  • Responsible for the execution of the learning roadmap to support business priorities
  • Develop and utilizes data analysis and measurements effectively to identify performance trends and implement learning to drive improvements
  • Ensure all learning programs have measureable impact to the KPIs of the business
  • Effectively manage resources and develop contingency plans
  • Partners with global learning colleagues to ensure learning initiatives are aligned and consistent
  • On-going coaching and development of learning team
  • Recruiting and retention of learning talents

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in related field required or equivalent professional work related experience.
  • 8+ years professional related work experience or Master’s degree and 6+ years, or Doctorate and 4+ years
  • Industry Standard Training Qualification

  • Experience in working with training vendors on training needs identification, learning program/class structure design and vendor classes quality evaluation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate or any e-learning tools would be a plus
  • Candidates must have a proven track record in achieving strong results as well as continually displaying initiative to take on additional responsibilities towards professional growth
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
  • Must be a team player with an ability to lead a team and motivate others
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
