The Lead Web Producer will play a key role in driving the reimagining and evolution of PayPal.com globally. Bringing a holistic, customer view of the user experience, this individual will focus on building the best experience for our customers – one that integrates the journey from marketing to product. As such, this will be a highly cross-functional role working with teams across the company as well as external agencies. This role will require excellent organizational and communication skills. Also important is a good eye for design and digital user experience. The ideal candidate will have a combination of business savvy, extensive program/project management experience, and solid technical expertise. Success will require synthesizing business needs and streamlining global implementation of digital marketing services, processes, instrumentation, and tools to drive continuity and consistency.

General Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to rethink PayPal.com user experience, working closely with marketing, design, analytics, and product teams globally
  • Coordinate with digital agencies to ensure timely communication and delivery
  • Develop requirements and drive cross-functional stakeholder conversations, decisions, program documentation, and deliverables
  • Prepare, coordinate, and centralize program documentation and work plans for marketing teams and their key stakeholders
  • Identify and manage dependencies and links between projects and overall costs and risks
  • Develop effective communication processes to inform teams about program progress, roadmaps and key deliverables
  • Serve as the key connection point between Marketing, Product, Engineering, Experimentation, Analytics, and Finance

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Operations, or Business Administration
  • Experience in financial services with focus on Web/Digital Marketing preferred
  • 8+ years professional related work experience leading cross-functional teams and demonstrating operational excellence
  • Experience distilling business/marketing requirements for technical stakeholders
  • Highly effective communicator who interacts with clarity and purpose and has experience interacting at all levels of organization
  • Process driven individual who has effectively managed and executed complex, multi-layer work streams in a matrix organization
  • Skilled at distilling critical information and ensuring communications are clear and action-oriented
  • Inspirational leader who creates a culture of enthusiasm and positivity with a ‘can-do’ attitude
