Primary Job Responsibilities
This role is within the Analytics & Tools function for Commercial Risk Service. We are currently recruiting for a Lead Commercial Risk Analyst to support in deriving strategic insights and building analytical tools from large amount of data. This is a high-visibility role which requires interactions with Senior Management for the provision of data-driven analytical skill on the business and capability of data visualization for global merchant support.

Job Requirements:

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to extract business insight and solve business problem in commercial risk service.
  • Collaborate with multiple team inside risk as well as with business team to understand the needs of merchant support insights.
  • Foster relationship with business partners.
  • Develop and manage a framework to enable better merchant risk experience
  • Build, maintain and enhance the data pipeline.
  • Design and develop the prototype of data application for internal usage.

Basic Qualifications 

  • MBA degree plus 3-5 years’ relevant risk/data working experience
  • Experience analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets
  • Fast learner with strong analytical background
  • Capability to extract business insight and solve business problem from data
  • Fluent in SQL and relational database, such as Teradata, Mysql
  • Experience in report analysis and development using business intelligence tools such Tableau, High Charts, Microstrategy etc
  • Experience in manipulating large and complex datasets through statistical software, such as R or SAS
  • Ability to take on initiatives in a fast-paced, changing environment
