As a member of our team, you will work with Designers, Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads building new experiences and improving existing products, developing robust software solutions and dependable products for PayPal’s customers You’ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. You need to be dynamic, collaborative and curious, as you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where continuous experimentation and innovation are a given.

As a Merchant-Organization engineer, you will be responsible for working on applications and services that handle all types of PayPal transactions. You will work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and experimentation are a given. You will master both established and cutting edge technologies like Java, JEE, JavaScript, nodejs iOS, Android, Hadoop, MongoDB among others

Job Requirement

•        Expert in Java/J2EE programming .

•        Experience in building RESTful APIs in accordance with industry best practices.

•        Expert in modern database/storage technologies.

•        Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance

•        Competent in software engineering tools and best practices

•        Good at problem solving.

•        Conversant in web front-end technologies – Node.js, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript

•        Conversant with Clean-code principles and TDD

•        Perform quantitative analysis of data to generate recommendations for changing product

•        Mentor other engineers

Basic Qualification

•        B.E / B.Tech in computer science or M.Tech

•        8+ years of experience
