You will be joining our awesome credit risk strategy team and play a key part in our mission to design and constantly improve PayPal’s Working Capital (data driven) strategy.

Job Description Summary

You will be joining our awesome credit risk strategy team and play a key part in our mission to design and constantly improve PayPal’s Working Capital (data driven) strategy. You will own and hands-on perform key tasks and projects, end to end, utilizing your sharp data analysis skills, creative analytical thinking, and focused business understanding. We are looking for someone who is a pleasure to work with, has a creative approach to problem solving and data, good business understanding, a strong sense of ownership, and a drive to learn and contribute. 

As part of your role you will

Deliver decision strategies

  • Develop data-driven decision strategies to support business and financial goals,
    monitor their impact and adjust according to the dynamic world we operate in.
  • Work with PayPal’s detailed data and bring your domain expertise to optimize performance and minimize financial loss.

Drive End-to-End processes with partners across many organizations

  • Plan and execute long-term projects from start to finish.
  • Drive partners from across the company to align and help in executing processes.
  • Be the point of contact for the domain you own.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in one of the following: Economics, Finance, Engineering, Exact Sciences, etc.
  • 5+ years of hands on experience (SQL / Python) as a product/ data analyst, delivering ad hoc analytics, BI, predictive models.
  • Advantages: experience from an online company/ in the credit / risk domain/ management role.
  • Quick-thinker, fast learner, problem solver, a team player.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
