The Sales Acquisition Manager role is a high-impact role in which your leadership, business expertise, product acumen, customer understanding, analytical rigor and interpretation of results will materially influence decisions directly affecting the growth trajectory of our business. You will be part of the team responsible for acquiring new Large Enterprise merchants across Latin America. Our merchant acquisition efforts need to be scalable across the region which means you will need to collaborate across the organization to refine and execute a strategy that is consistent and repeatable across PayPal Latin America.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
 

  • Help build the merchant acquisitions program from the ground up, including program definition, execution and ongoing operation
  • Identify & prospect high value acquisition targets by developing relationships with new merchants across the region
  • Help close existing pipeline of Large Enterprise opportunities
  • Act as liaison between Lead Sourcing Team, Telesales, and Large Enterprise Team to help accelerate launch of new merchant relationships
  • Facilitate new merchant onboarding support through PayPal’s Partner for new merchant acquisitions
  • Ensure PayPal’s Partners commercial readiness for new merchant acquisition. This includes participating in commercial activities such as sales pitches, demos, and product highlights with prospective merchants
  • Provide regular progress updates to executive stakeholders; define communication plan for program overall
     

Skills & Experience
 

  • Sales Professional: Has experience in consultative sales, positioning product benefits with decision makers and advancing a complex pipeline of high value deals
  • Program Manager: can manage multiple complex & time-sensitive programs with multiple dimensions with strong discipline
  • Strong communicator: with the ability to turn a high-level concept into a clear narrative with executive-ready materials
  • Strategic thinker: someone with a clear vision and the ability to execute on priorities
  • Collaborator: can pull together and drive execution from cross functional teams and build strong, trusted relationships with global counterparts
  • Influencer: can bring groups with disparate or competing incentives together to reach consensus for a shared outcome
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management and sales
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
