We are currently seeking a Knowledge and Change Specialist within PayPal’s Global Regulatory Oversight & Advocacy PMO Team to provide oversight and guidance on new projects and process changes within the Global Customer Operations Organization. Responsibilities will include supporting a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Professionals in driving key projects that support the strategic vision of the organization. The Knowledge and Change Specialist will be active across all phases of project delivery from definition to deployment and will require expertise in Consumer Protections, Customer Identity, Complaints and Privacy.

Core responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and executing on project milestones and supporting personnel involved on behalf of the Project Management Office.
  • Supporting a Team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Professionals in driving key projects for the PMO
  • Cross-functional collaboration and engagement with the various business units within GCO, product teams, Legal, ERCS, Audit, and other to be identified teams.
  • Provide project updates to Business Unit Leaders, Program Managers, and GCCI leadership upon request
  • Works as part of a team assisting Program Managers in gathering requirements for customer/project/obligation needs
  • Executes specific tasks as part of an overall project
  • Understands the goals of the project, can create a project plan, and execute according to the plan.
  • Understands Risk Management framework and can follow remediation requirements as defined within the Issue Management Standard.
  • Is willing to execute different tasks and reprioritize activities on a short notice. Can adapt to a changing and cross-functional environment
  • Takes ownership for career development; manages own performance and career progression, looks for opportunities to learn
  • Demonstrates an appetite to learn - participates in learning and training opportunities
  • Applies learned tools and skills to assigned tasks
  • Works well in team environment

Education required:

  • BS/BA degree in related field required.
  • 0 to 2 years related professional experience.
  • BA/ Project Management Diploma

Skills & Abilities required:

  • Proven ability to understand complex business processes and technology interfaces
  • Well- developed sense of urgency and follow-through, as well as commitment to individual and group deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in simplifying and presenting complex information via flow charts, diagrams and PowerPoint presentations
  • Rapidly and effectively adapt to highly dynamic, fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment
  • Expected to be self-directed and results-focused
  • Flexible, able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to collaborate and execute on project plans
  • Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail
