The primary role of the Software Engineer is to provide technical and domain expertise in the design and delivery of software and infrastructure for PayPal's web site. This person is an experienced technical expert that can comprehend the business requirements very well, and is well-versed in software implementation.

The successful candidate is expected to be multi-disciplinary, and is a multi-talented member of the technical team. The duties performed by the Software Engineer vary, from technical design and development, to troubleshooting, performance analysis, quality assurance support and live site issue support and analysis. This position has a hands-on development role that will be actively involved in software development and project delivery of PayPal products.
