Identity & Access Management Engineer

PayPal is looking for IAM Engineer to design, deploy, configure and implement the deployed IGA & Access Management solution based on customer requirements. As an expert in deploying Identity Governance solutions, the primary responsibility will be to design and deploy the solutions based on the company needs. This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Desirable exposure: Application, data and infrastructure governance, experience with legacy on-premise or modern cloud IGA offerings & SSO tool sets, extensive hands on development, customization and solution experience on one or more Identity Management solution suite, depth of understanding in Identity Management and Governance use cases, Single Sign-on Technologies etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Identity Governance solution to meet customer requirements using either Sailpoint or Savinyt
  • Deploy the SSO solutions using SAML2.0, OAuth and OIDC protocols.
  • Design, deploy, implement and integrate IGA with critical applications and infrastructure
  • Follow approved life cycle methodologies, create documentation for design and testing
  • Interact/coordinate with customers as required
  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Provide technical expertise in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept and implementation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/equivalent in Engineering
  • 5-8 years of industry experience in design, development, customization, configuration, deployment of any Identity Management and Governance products
  • Hands on experience with Java based technologies, Microservices, Containerization, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
  • Thorough understanding of common authentication standards (OAUTH, SAML, FIDO, etc)
  • Thorough domain knowledge on the below areas of IAG
    • User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning and Reconciliation
    • Auditing, Reporting and user activity Monitoring
    • Access Certification
    • Cloud Security
  • Java/J2EE and strong SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of protocols like SAML2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, WebAuthN, SCIM
  • Experience in Unix Shell, Batch Jobs
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong "get it done" attitude
  • Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
