This role will be responsible for the design, development and execution of the integrated lead and demand generation strategy for PayPal's merchant business. The objective of this role is to generate customer demand and deliver quality leads to support the SMB sales team across APAC in exceeding their revenue goals.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in driving the APAC sales team success. This role will report to the Head of Mid-Market Sales, APAC, and will work closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, industry partners, 3rd party agencies to support the Go-to-market strategy for key APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to design and execute demand and pipeline generation plans for PayPal
  • Conduct market research and scoping to understand full market potential and provide actionable insights to develop sales strategy
  • Analyse existing customer portfolio to design sales campaign with clearly defined objectives
  • Identify key trends, verticals and opportunity areas for prioritisation
  • Drive sales campaigns and initiatives to generate demand and leads
  • Track, measure and report regularly on progress and KPIs to key stakeholders
  • Engage and manage partners and external vendors when required as part of the overall strategy

Experience and qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, database marketing, sales campaign management
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B sales process
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • APAC market knowledge and experience
  • Experience in eCommerce, technology in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to lead and inspire people to deliver results
  • 3-5 years of experience in social selling and digital marketing
