This person will be responsible for overall finance operation in HKT, and partner with the GM and his staff team to drive the growth and success of the HKT business.


  • Lead P&L planning and forecasting activities while interfacing closely with the business partners and regional & global FP&A teams to adopt & implement standardized regional & global tools
  • Produce management reports and financial analysis extracting opportunities /risks /actionable performance insights and working with the business to develop action plans
  • Serve as a member of HKT Business Leadership Team (BLT), and partner with GM and his staff team to drive strategic initiatives and sustainable growth
  • Maintain a robust financial operating framework (KPIs, rhythm) to drive financial ownership among BU teams
  • Drive optimal decision making through financial, quantitative and strategic analysis
  • Drive accountability and discipline around commercial pricing and BU Opex
  • Drive process improvement and lay the foundation for scalable processes that will scale with HKT’s growth
  • Partner in monthly close activities in accordance with corporate guidelines and schedules with Accounting Services Team and Controllership
  • This is an individual contributor role, but will be supported by 1 fully dedicated analyst (reporting to Head of Analytics) and other shared finance resources at Greater China region headquarter

    Job Requirements:

  • Progressive work experience in a relevant field (Fortune 500 a plus), experience with Technologies, Media, Telecommunications (TMT) industries or big data environment preferred
  • Be well organized and detail oriented with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic small-team environment, be hands on
  • Superior intellectual and quantitative analysis capabilities
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization, both locally and internationally, and able to build a strong internal and effective network
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and improving financial processes
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting and planning systems (SAP, Essbase, SQL)
  • Demonstrated high energy/creativity, a relentless customer-focus, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passion about the ecommerce, FinTech, and the PayPal brand, offering, and purpose

    Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required; MBA or Equivalent is preferred
  • 8+ years of finance experience
  • Must be fluent in English, Cantonese is a plus
