PayPal plays a big role in enabling global commerce, and providing protection and trust for consumers whilst enabling sellers to access customers all over the world. PayPal Singapore is the Regional Headquarters for PayPal Asia Pacific - where we have customers and local teams servicing our customers in China, India, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea. Across the region there are 56 people in the Marketing team, split into Regional and In-market roles.

The regional growth marketing team is responsible for establishing and delivering APAC wide growth initiatives, building scalable growth capabilities and driving synergy across growth programs that need to be executed regionally in conjunction with global and local marketing teams.

Head of Regional Growth Marketing (Consumer), APAC, reports into the Senior Director, Asia who has a combination portfolio of growth markets in Asia and regional growth Programs for consumer segments.

The key areas of responsibilities:

  • Deliver commonality led consumer strategy and plans for PayPal APAC
  • Develop insights using market research to identify new consumer growth opportunities
  • Be our consumer segment advocate and deliver value to key local and regional stakeholders
  • Create a seamless process to roll out regional consumer strategy in conjunction with key regional and local marketing teams as well as other cross functional groups
  • Establish and deliver a cohesive regional calendar of consumer growth and marketing programs
  • Partner with the local marketing teams to align on regional consumer program objectives and incorporate regional consumer programs into their marketing plans to maximize APAC wide opportunity
  • Deliver on regional consumer growth programs objectives and targets  
  • Create best practice playbooks for consumer growth programs that improve efficiency and effectiveness of by-market program roll out across the region
  • Launch consumer growth experiments to improve the speed to market of consumer programs and initiatives across APAC.
  • Be responsible for targets and budgets of consumer growth programs


We welcome outstanding individuals with the following skills, experiences, and personality:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing; consumer marketing experience essential.
  • Strong marketing skillset including digital and brand  marketing  
  • Be able to articulate strategic consumer marketing vision yet able to deliver and execute hands on programs
  • An outstanding influencer and communicator
  • Successful track record on working and collaborating as a team, and across multiple stakeholders, to deliver project outcomes. Prior experience working in a matrix structure an advantage.
