The Go-to-Market Manager role is a high-impact role in which your leadership, business expertise, product acumen, customer understanding, analytical rigor and interpretation of results will materially influence decisions directly affecting the growth trajectory of our business.

You will be part of the team responsible for building go-to-market programs that help define and tell our PayPal story to merchant customers across the world.  Our go-to-market (GTM) efforts need to be globally scalable which means you will need to collaborate across the organization to refine and execute a strategy that is consistent and repeatable for segment and market teams across PayPal.

The GTM Manager role is a high-impact role in which your leadership, business expertise, product acumen, customer understanding, analytical rigor and interpretation of results will materially influence decisions directly affecting the growth trajectory of our business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Help build the GTM program from the ground up, including program definition and sell-in/briefing across the business including exec leadership
  • GTM Leadership: you will work with key partners from across the business (including segment teams, country teams, integrated marketing, sales ops, risk, compliance, legal and customer service) to ensure commercial readiness for product launches
  • Development of strategic play books to enable market and segment teams to execute; proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Lead the development and tracking of OKR’s
  • Provide regular progress updates to executive stakeholders; define communication plan for program overall

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communicator: with the ability to turn a high level concept into a clear narrative with executive-ready materials
  • Strategic thinker: someone with a clear vision and the ability to execute on priorities
  • Collaborator: can pull together and drive execution from cross functional teams and build strong, trusted relationships with global counterparts
  • Influencer: can bring groups with disparate or competing incentives together to reach consensus for a shared outcome
  • Program Manager: can manage multiple complex & time-sensitive programs with multiple dimensions with strong discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in go-to-market, product management, or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
