Responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors.

Core responsibilities

  • Identify and share process improvements to support learning experiences for the team and stakeholders.
  • Partner with GTE program managers and team leaders to help gather customer TNI, pre or post class insights and/or other relevant and needed interview data.
  • Responsible for post class reports by compiling and analyzing data to provide visualization of performance impact for the team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics and support related to events, classes and programs throughout APAC in partnership with program managers, local leaders and vendors.  Work to provide seamless experiences by applying lessons learned and anticipating issues before they occur, and taking corrective action.
  • Maintain oversight on all training rooms and advise GTE PMs on room related issues, training rooms going offline, etc.
  • POC for Facilities to book larger spaces (e.g. Town Hall rooms in SJ)
  • Assist North American teammates with travel related needs (those needs which are outside of the support Chennai-site logistics team provide).
  • Support live classes and act as liaison between IT, Videoconferencing, facilities, etc. to ensure classes and events run smoothly, on schedule.
  • Manage local inventory of supplies, swag, marketing and coms related items.

Job requirements

  • Able to effectively prioritize and influence leadership and work, without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and sharing trend and situation based data.
  • Exceptional time management and working under pressure skills  
  • Possesses managerial courage in difficult times or when negative communication is necessary.  Able to craft messages that are clear for a large population
  • Strong technical aptitude and system knowledge including but not limited to (Internet, Office Applications) and proficiency in and/or ability to quickly learn internal business systems
  • Agile in fast paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to report, analyze, evaluate and draw conclusions from data
  • Able to work flexible hours and/or overtime as business needs dictate
