PayPal's Global Content and Technology team is looking for an adaptable, high performing, motivated and self-reliant production manager who has direct experience in managing the end-to-end localization process and large-scale global product management.

PayPal’s Global Content and Technology team is looking for an adaptable, high performing, motivated and self-reliant production manager who has direct experience in managing the end-to-end localization process and large-scale global product management. The individual will use a broad set of skills and experiences to ensure our international customers receive quality services and products. Innovation is central to PayPal’s goals. The perfect candidate will be able to work on their own and with a highly-complex team of stakeholders, focusing on operational processes and product management with a strong bias to action and continuous improvement. This role requires a combination of planning, leadership, and analytical skills as well as the ability to execute under constant deadline pressure and collaborate with globally distributed cross-functional teams. In addition, the Globalization Enablement Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the efforts of multiple testing teams responsible for the internationalization, localization, and linguistic quality of all PayPal deliverables.


  • Maintain productive engagement with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Product Owners, Delivery Teams, Production Engineering, and Development Engineering leadership as well as stakeholders in regional offices.
  • Understand the business need and the product requirements from a customer perspective and collaborate with product teams in project planning. Engage with product delivery teams to understand global roadmaps and requirements.
  • The Global Enablement Manager sets expectations with the product team by assessing and analyzing scope for each project/feature and reporting back on timelines based upon resource allocation and other release schedules and priorities.
  • Communicate strategies to appropriate stakeholders to obtain required support and coordination.
  • Manage partner relationships; set priorities and manage user requirements; project management of globalization and localization; identify and develop new opportunities to increase productivity and value from our processes and solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are executed according to plan with high quality, keep current on the project’s progress and ensure corrective actions are taken when there are risks of missing deadlines.
  • Manage the formal test effort within the Global Content and Technology organization to adhere to PayPal quality standards by defining the scope of testing which in turn directly impacts the development and execution of test cases and also affects scheduling and cross team collaboration.
  • Responsible for coordinating the efforts of outsourced teams of Quality Engineers and for providing guidance to Test Leads to meet the quality objectives within the established milestones. Also responsible for answering questions and resolving issues by working with cross-functional teams to obtain answers and/or solutions to ensure process and standards are followed.
  • Carry out research and data collection and identify key issues to avoid potential risks. Regular status reporting on progress of projects and escalating blocking issues
  • Work on operational tasks using World Server, tracking databases and monitoring defects
  • Manage dashboards and data entry for change management and provide release quality assessment of every release.
  • Ability to learn quickly and take appropriate decisive action in response to urgent work requests.
  • Perform analyses and provide visibility of results to stakeholders or others who can affect change with the goal of continually introducing incremental improvements to optimize collaboration. Set key standard processes to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Ability to provide requirements to a team of engineers to drive programmatic solutions.
  • Strong team player with high aptitude in problem solving and written communication.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in International releases, Localization process flow, Globalization technologies and platforms.
  • High level of project management skills, especially in agile environments
  • Data management or business intelligence skills preferred
  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of developing solutions using agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing large, complex, multi-dimensional global process flows.
  • Managing operations end-to-end across product lifecycles
  • Experience in using tools such as World Server, TMs, and other localization tools, etc. is preferred.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management of localization and global releases required

This position has no direct reports and does not formally manage other staff.
