Manager, Sales Planning & Operations is a member of the Global Sales Operations Org and acts as the central point of contact for sales planning and effectiveness activities and deliverables


  • Drive initiatives in Sales Transformation office which help collect feedback from merchants and partners and up-level key issues to PayPal’s senior leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help them prioritize product/project roadmaps and business cases 
  • Sales Effectiveness & Strategic Initiatives – Support and lead strategic performance improvement initiatives, representing Global Sales Operations within cross functional programs
  • Data Analytics & Excel Modeling – Partner with analytics team to develop strong data driven analytics muscle and support in creation of sales insights reports for sales planning function  
  • Establish effective working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders: Global Sales Operations Partner COEs, Finance, Marketing, HR, and others
  • Annual Sales Planning and governance – Develop and drive a globally consistent sales planning process that includes account segmentation, territory planning, incentives strategy support, role reassignments strategy, and coverage model for quota setting

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from accredited university
  • 2+ years of related business and leadership experience
  • Solid strategic planning skills combined with exceptional execution
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to analyze data and reports
  • Collaborative mindset with leadership capabilities and the ability to influence
  • Requires an excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle,, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas)
  • Clear, strategic thinker with vision, with the ability to execute on priorities
  • Solid excel based data analysis and modeling skills
  • Advanced power point presentation skills and an ability to present to senior stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions
