The Global Counterparty Risk Analyst role is responsible for analyzing and reporting PayPal’s global investment and banking counterparties. This role will assist and help develop policies and procedures that reduce credit risk for PayPal. The role will also develop and manage the building of financial models that help predict credit risk exposure. Finally, the role will Oversees the prepare performance reports for management.

This role will :

  • Provide Senior Management and governance bodies with insight in order to prioritize revenue producing and/or risk reducing initiatives
  • Assess Counterparty Ratings across the enterprise and report changes
  • Assist and contribute to stress case and scenario testing across the enterprise to support legal and global regulatory compliance
  • Conduct risk assessment and risk analyses and analyze impact of credit migration.
  • Partner with other Treasury teammates and regulatory and compliance teammate to help develop a groupwide risk modeling framework.
  • Create reporting infrastructure and tools to provide knowledge and insight into the global operations of PayPal’s cross border business
  • Support M&A integration as an Capital Markets partner and consultant.

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years Finance/Treasury experience , MBA/CFA preferred
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA Preferred
  • Treasury background preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proven track record of cross functional leadership and driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
