PayPal is looking for a talented professional and team player to join our Rewards team in a high-level individual contributor role, reporting to the Compensation Director. A passion for great customer service and data is key, as we want to ensure we leverage internal and external information to shape business decisions. This role will be located in Scottsdale, Chandler or Austin.


  • Assist in delivering compensation strategies and programs that support our strategic objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and modeling for compensation programs, including annual budgets, competitive assessments of pay trends and impacts, and equity utilization.
  • Partner with compensation colleagues across Paypal, using tools and benchmarking surveys to make sure our compensation approach is market-leading, scalable, and internally aligned.
  • Guide Leaders, Recruiting and People Business Partners on compensation philosophy, practices, and programs; bringing expertise and analysis to drive more informed decisions.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of compensation structure, pay reviews, equity programs and communications
  • Advise on the development of job profiles and compensation grades/ranges to effectively position new hires and internal movement..
  • Provide advice for new hire offer creation globally.

Skills and experience you'll need:

  • 8-10 years experience in Compensation
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and establishing/tracking effective metrics
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced culture
  • Proven project management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Very detail oriented and customer service focused
  • Familiarity with global compensation strategies, understanding regional pay differences
  • Embrace a drive for results; being upbeat, detail oriented, analytical, and self-starting
