The selected candidate will be responsible for leading PayPal’s Global Cash Management function reporting directly to the Assistant Treasurer. In this role, you will establish world-class cash management standards and drive processes that enable PayPal to scale with its rapid growth while ensuring strong controls. Flexibility to change and move at a fast pace is important.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leader of Global Cash management.  Drive best practice cash management strategies and standardized operational procedures with zero defects
  • Maintain and enhance cash flow positioning/forecasting, analysis and reporting of cash flow trends and potential liquidity requirements
  • Understand and actively engage cross functional areas within and outside of Treasury to manage cash activities which impact the P&L (FX, interest income/expense) and help meet our financial obligations
  • Partner with M&A and Go-To-Market teams and actively engage to integrate new acquisitions and products into the global cash management infrastructure. Focus on automation and scalability of solution
  • Build strong relationships with external global banking partners, as well as internal regional CFO, Controller, product teams, as well as other Treasury functional areas
  • Ensure Corporate and Treasury policies are adhered to
  • Leverage Treasury’s global system to efficiently perform daily cash positioning, intercompany loan oversight and management reporting
  • Provide exceptional leadership to motivate and retain a team of Treasury Professionals.  Mentor and develop each employee to reach his or her potential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10+ years in a Treasury Management role 
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, highly analytical environment where multi-tasking and short timelines are met with consistent ability to achieve financial accuracy.
  • Ability to influence change outside of Treasury organization as Company evolves processes and strategy to new global standards
  • Strong communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of Management
  • Understanding and experience implementing cash management strategies
  • Ability to work independently; relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Previous experience working in a global environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Quantum and SAP
