As Partnership Marketing Manager at PayPal, you’ll work with our largest and most strategic merchant partners to help plan and execute global marketing programs that drive mutual growth and amplify our impact on the business and our customers. This role will report into the Director, Partner Marketing and will help prioritize, plan, and execute partner-specific co-marketing programs and GTM strategies that drive new user acquisition and increase usage, loyalty, brand preference and revenue across the PayPal network.

You’ll be responsible for working highly collaboratively and cross-functionally across Sales, B2C and B2B Marketing, Analytics, Legal, Creative, Finance, and Product. You’ll help define our partner marketing strategies, drive growth programs forward with ownership and accountability, oversee timelines and execution, and measure impact and optimize your work to ensure success.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about building relationships and has experience in partnership marketing. They are able to contribute new ideas and thinking that helps shape the work we do and the way we do it. They are also comfortable thinking across industries and can intake a broad, complex range of internal and external business objectives and translate them into clear ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and support strategy development for partner marketing campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, usage, and preference for PayPal’s products and services
  • Be the voice of the partner, and the marketing linchpin between PayPal and the partner
  • Establish clear KPIs and ensure impactful testing and measurement for your marketing programs, with strong communication and accountability for results and business impact
  • Work closely with our Global Accounts team to bring new business on board by illustrating the strategic value that PayPal can deliver through high-impact partner marketing programs.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Use data and insights to make decisions about our highest impact short and long-term opportunities
  • Identify and create innovative programs which expand reach beyond core channels and help drive partner portfolio business


  • 5+ years professional experience in marketing for a global brand across multiple disciplines – experience working with external partners strongly preferred
  • Proven success working in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Ability to influence and motivate internal and external partners
  • Hands on experience managing large scale marketing programs as well as smaller scale test and learn growth programs
  • Ability to translate performance and brand analytics into actionable insights and results that fuel learning and optimization
  • Ability to work seamlessly between the intersections of PayPal priorities and partner goals
  • Experience writing creative briefs, testing creative, and adapting based on insights
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage through ambiguous situations and work flexibly in a high-pressure, fast-paced, regularly changing environment
  • Intellectually curious and desire to have fun along the way
  • Experience in payments a plus - comfort and interest in becoming an expert in new industries a must.
