The FX Product and Capital Markets Analyst role is responsible for supporting the all segments and geographies to ensure success in the execution of PayPal’s FX and investment trading strategies. This role serves in the capacity of an FX trading and risk manager to recommend and execute hedging strategies for PayPal’s customer balance sheet, and intercompany loan hedging programs as well as to assist with the day to day investment activity of PayPal’s cash portfolios.

This role will :

  • Provide industry expertise and intelligence to evaluate and implement best FX execution strategies.
  • Provide Senior Management and governance bodies with strategic insight in order to prioritize revenue producing and/or risk reducing initiatives
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to design end to end FX flows ensuring operational excellence and an excellent customer experience
  • Centralize group and subsidiary FX at the International Treasury Centre based in Luxembourg
  • Support Treasury management systems across the function supporting both FX, Cash Management, and Risk Management
  • Monitor compliance with all FX and Treasury policies including all applicable Dodd Frank and EMIR regulatory requirements
  • Support M&A integration as an FX partner and consultant.
  • Provide strategic support for business units where possible by leveraging bank products, services and existing relationships

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years Finance/Treasury experience , MBA/CFA preferred
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA Preferred
  • Broad Treasury background preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
