PayPal CS Product Development and User Experience team is responsible for applications, integrations that are used by several teammates around the world to service customers. As a Full Stack Developer, you will assist us in building the solutions that will power the next generation of Customer Care Teammate products.

The team is looking for a self-motivated, proactive curious engineer to join the team and help build backend api’s, web applications, integrating to third party applications.  As a member of our team, you will work directly with our Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads to create outstanding solutions and deliver incredible products. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack developer with experience in Node.JS, JQuery, CSS and supporting front-end technologies and back-end experience in Java.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Design, development and testing of web applications and services following best practices 
  • Work closely with design & product to craft great product experiences
  • Collaborate with peers and seniors within and across the teams
  • Work with operations teams to ensure the applications and services are highly available
  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
  • Identify and document best practices

Requirements:

  • Proficient in client & server-side Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Redux and webpack
  • Competent in developing Node.js applications and building single page web applications using React.js & Redux 
  • Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform and design constraints on the web
  • Experience in server side Java frameworks
  • Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests
  • Experience in agile development process
  • Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
  • Have a passion for quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of software design and web application dev
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
