The Customer Success and Insights Platform team is looking for a highly talented, self-driven, proven software engineer to take on the challenge of building Helpcenter Experiences for PayPal . As an engineer in our development team you will be responsible for the development of key building blocks of Helpcenter We are looking for software engineers who are curious, fast-learning, and versatile , to join the team working to develop the next-generation of SelfService solutions that will change how billions of users self resolve issues. Helpcenter is the major contributor to help customers to self resolve the issue. You will work closely with product, architects and other teams to understand the business needs and deliver solutions to meet their needs. Engineers willing to join this team should be able to work Full Stack utilizing Express JS, React JS,  JAVA , GraphQL and NODE JS technologies

Must have qualifications

4-6 Years of software development experience    

2+ years working with Node.JS ( specifically  Express JS and React JS )

1+ years working with JAVA ( SPRING WS )

Experience working with UI Library and state-management libraries like React.JS , Redux 

Experience building REST and GraphQL Services

Experience working with SQL/ NoSQL databases like Oracle, Couchbase,

Experience working with Test Frameworks like Chai, Mocha 

Experience integrating 3rd Party API and Authentication Services 

Experience maintaining a UI component framework.

Knowledge of build Tools like Maven, Webpack, Grunt

Knowledge of Search / NLP technologies like Elasticsearch, Lucene 

Knowledge of debugging memory issues

Working with Python on Big Data Analytics and ML  

Experience and knowledge in GraphQL and Apollo 

Experience writing clear, modular code and effective, pragmatic tests.

Thorough understanding of unidirectional data flow, state management, compositional design patterns, and other modern UI engineering concepts.

Experience identifying code complexity, exploring and communicating alternatives, and refactoring it to be simpler.

Experience and involvement in design, architecture and implementation of best practices for a highly scalable platform that will be processing millions of requests per day, eventually per hour, and per minute and second.  

Experience and involvement in leading edge discovery utilizing the latest methods in deep learning, NLP, AI, machine learning, and knowledge acquisition

Understanding of how to blend machine learning and neural network algorithms for training competitive state-of-the-art models into parallel computing environments (e.g. GPU, distributed clusters, etc.)

Understanding of one or more of the following: NLP, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, question answering, information retrieval, knowledge base or similar.
