Typical responsibilities include:

  • Create Technical Solutions to complex problems working together with the Product, Business and Architect teams
  • Leading the design, development, and testing of features/functions delivered via applications and services
  • Adhere to best of class coding and design standards
  • Working with product leaders using agile methodologies to deliver high quality solutions on time
  • Working with operations leaders to ensure your applications and services are highly available and reliable
  • Supporting your applications and/or services as and when required

  Job Requirements:

  • Competent in object orientated design principles, fluent in design patterns and refactoring concepts
  • Expert in Java programming, RESTful services
  • Expert in modern database/storage technologies
  • Experience in UNIX, shell scripting
  • Experience building large scalable applications
  • Experience in node.js, javascript
  • The following skills will be an added advantage:
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
    • Automation Testing and Unit Testing experience with tools like JUnit, Selenium
    • C++ frameworks, J2EE, Struts, XML, AJAX experience
    • Exposure to frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, React

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Experience developing scalable applications
