In this exciting and challenging opportunity, the successful candidate will join PayPal’s Core Platform & Framework team as a user interface developer. This individual will be part of critical projects building a modern user interface for a system used by all of PayPal employees in technology. He/she will work with top notch developers, architects, operations, cloud engineering and framework teams to make dramatic improvement in productivity for thousands of developers in the company
Job Requirements
• 3+ years of cumulative experience developing user interface in JavaScript based technology like jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, React, etc.
• Own and drive development and delivery of features
• Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap, Material-ui and cross-browser and device development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts, core JavaScript concepts like scope/closures, the event loop and asynchronous callbacks, promises.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills. Ability to understand and articulate both technical and business issues with peers, management, and external teams

  • Prototype solutions as required
  • Create intuitive and simple user interface complemented by a robust, highly scalable, adaptable back end system
  • Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
