Lead FP&A for RMB withdrawal, 3Y financial plan, various management reports. Also be FP&A focal personal partnering with various groups over different initiatives, and coordinate with regional and HQ FP&A/Analytics.

Job Responsibilities (Core responsibilities):

  • Act as an FP&A focal person and lead various FP&A and Analytical support to a PayPal subsidiary in China.
  • Lead P&L planning and forecasting activities (long-term and short-term) while interfacing with business partners and HQ FP&A teams to adopt standardized tools.
  • Partner with business teams over various initiatives, drive optimal decision making through financial, quantitative and strategic analysis.
  • Produce various management reports and financial analysis to provide a full transparency to execution, and be able to advise on opportunities / risks / action plans.
  • Monitor the PayPal subsidiary Opex and drive accountability and discipline around Opex spending.
  • Adopt best practices and drive FP&A process improvement in the PayPal subsidiary and lay the foundation for scalable processes to enable PayPal China subsidiary’s growth.
  • Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders (business teams, regional / HQ FP&A teams, as well as other functional teams), drive transparency and consistency in communicating PayPal subsidiary financial / execution.
  • This is an individual contributor role. A successful candidate shall be equipped with solid analytical skills as well as ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization, other than a strong FP&A domain.

Job Requirements

  • Progressive work experience in a relevant field (Fortune 500 a plus), experience with Technologies, Media, Telecommunications (TMT), FMCG industries or big data environment preferred.
  • Be well organized and detail oriented with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic small-team environment, be hands on.
  • Superior intellectual and quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization, both locally and internationally, and able to build a strong internal and effective network.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and improving financial processes.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting and planning systems (Essbase, Tableau, ERP).
  • Demonstrated high energy/creativity, a relentless customer-focus, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Passion about the Internet, ecommerce, and the PayPal brand, offering, and purpose.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in relevant fields required; MBA or Equivalent is preferred.
  • 8+ years of finance experience.
  • Must be fluent in both English and Chinese.
