Summary
The First Line of Defense (FLOD) Center of Excellence (COE) Testing Program Manager supports the delivery of a business strategy for global Internal Controls risk testing and monitoring processes by guiding the development, execution and maintenance of testing and monitoring processes. This role will identify innovative solutions, locate efficiency opportunities and define metrics for risk testing and monitoring functions. This position will report directly to the Director of FLOD COE Testing and Monitoring. This position requires the development of relationships with other managers and business units throughout the organization to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of processes, changes and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction and functional expertise to develop and drive the strategy for the FLOD COE Testing and Monitoring program through proven standardized project/program management tools, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proactively identify issues/conflicts that may impede execution; engage senior leadership and other key stakeholders to evaluate issues, drive resolution and enable successful outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to FLOD COE Testing and Monitoring Lead Analysts and Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness in test development.
  • Anticipate and provide strategies/solutions to highly complex project/program management issues or conflicts
  • Identify and gather required information and statistical data to perform statistical and trend analysis.  Bring forward all testing results.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Actively support and promote a culture of progress and ensure day-to-day quality & risk mitigation is maintained through periods of strategic change

Experience:

  • 12+ years of related experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk).

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience preferred.
