Support Braintree Financial Planing & Analysis (FP&A) - forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and analysis of the Braintree product. Analyst will establish critical link to controllership, pricing, and product teams in Chicago. Role will require a high degree of business partnering and comfort with utilizing financial systems. Will support PYPL corporate and regional finance teams as needed.

As a member of this team based in Chicago, this Financial Analyst role will be a valued partner to various corporate and business leads at the company on financial planning and reporting support.

  • Support monthly forecast process, and provide continued enhancement to budgeting and forecasting tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain financial models highlighting trends and variance analysis.
  • Develop financial presentations used to communicate financial results to senior management.
  • Be the finance POC in Chicago for internal stakeholders /business partners and effectively communicate financial results.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis - Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze large data sets, complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience performing corporate FP&A
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Inherent interest in financial services and great business acumen
  • Proven leadership experience and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communicator with attention to detail
  • Problem solver
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional team environment setting
  • Strong analytical skills (such as Trend & Variance Analysis)
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with the following will be beneficial: SAP, Tableau, BPC, SQL, Python, Hyperion, Access
