The Finance Process Automation Manager is responsible for collaborating with business, finance and accounting process owners to implement change through improving global finance processes and optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of finance tools and systems. He/she should be versed in RPA application, but will be focused on driving broader Finance Automation activities utilizing various alternative process improvement methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Apply process improvement methodologies and tools to improve efficiencies, reduce risk and/or increase standardization
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on a wide range of alternative automation tools to solution various opportunities in the most cost-effective manner
  • Maintain understanding of global systems, tools, business processes and procedures to further develop process and system efficiencies
  • Support project teams in process quality activities by educating and coaching others on process improvement philosophy, tools and application
  • Project manage finance end-user requirements, make recommendations for solutions as needed, work with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements where necessary, and perform thorough testing as required
  • Serve as a liaison with IT as needed to assist in implementation of new systems and provide functional support related to regularly scheduled IT releases and ongoing incident resolution
  • Work proactively with other global and regional functional teams to analyze and document new or changed integrated business processes and procedures
  • Develop training documents and job aids and provide training on applying best practices and best-in-class methodologies.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in Finance, Process Automation, Continuous Improvement, Business Transformation or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field; MBA a plus but not required
  • Exposure to RPA technologies
  • Experience building dashboards
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Access, VBA, T-SQL, Tableau, Python
  • Experience with SAP
  • Lean Six Sigma a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationship cross-functionally and globally
  • Analytical with excellent problem solving skills
  • Well-organized with a high level of initiative and self-motivation
