The Pricing Strategy function is a key lever to grow the PayPal business. For this exciting journey we are looking for a strong addition to our Europe Pricing Strategy Team. For merchant and product pricing you will be responsible for local pricing decisions as well as for regional and global strategic pricing projects. This will include working closely with the Europe pricing team and our finance colleagues located in London and Berlin, Paris and Luxembourg, San Jose and Singapore. Your key stakeholders are the country managers, the project managers, the sales and relationship management teams across Europe. Job Responsibilities

The Pricing/Finance Manager will report directly to the Head of Pricing for Continental Europe. The role will require that the individual supports in:

  • Building pricing strategy for product launch and repositioning, assess financial impact at regional and global level
  • Identifying strategic topics and their implications and develop strategic insights from quantitative and qualitative data
  • World class strategic and analytical thinking with an excellent ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks, and to use data to drive strategic objectives and priorities
  • Serving as thought partner and advisor to key leaders in the region, Sales, Relationship Managers and operational teams to make educated pricing decisions and refine commercial strategy to support the growth of the business
  • Collaborating with Partners team to build strong agreements with our Partners or review terms and conditions
  • Supporting strategic pricing projects core to the strategy of PayPal into the execution phase. Help to develop documents to facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional team discussions as well as communicate with Senior Management
  • Aligning and improving processes to increase efficiency and foster faster decision making by benchmarking best practices across the globe
  • Suggesting and implementing new ideas to positively impact pricing performance

Profile

Successfully completed degree in business administration, science, engineering or equivalent

Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in high growth, global e-commerce or technology companies, consulting, investment banking or private equity.

Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Finance/ Accounting; SQL a plus

Fluent English and French; any other languages are a plus
