We are seeking a highly competent Executive Assistant to support the Global Consumer Product and Engineering organization. This individual must be capable of multi-tasking and appropriately handling all types of information. Success in this role involves anticipating the needs of your stakeholder, taking the initiative to solve problems independently, whilst managing the calendar and emails displaying appropriate judgment. In addition, you will be expected to proactively identify opportunities to make the overall immediate organization and leadership team more efficient over the long term.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Multi-faceted calendar management

• Project manage all logistics for team meetings, off-sites and events

• Assist with the coordination and preparation of complex documents and presentations

• Follow up on action items on behalf of the leadership team, as appropriate

• Understand overall department priorities and goals, and align schedules and meetings accordingly

• Provide effective and expeditious meeting coordination including agendas, notes and follow-up

• Action complex domestic and international travel arrangements expeditiously and accurately

• Prepare and track expense reports, purchase orders and contracts

• Partner with other company executive assistants in order to collaborate, schedule meetings, prioritize critical path items, solve problems, and obtain information to ensure smooth day to day operations

• Represent Global Consumer Product and Engineering organization internally and PayPal externally in a professional, positive manner

• Identify opportunities to make the team more efficient

• Handle special projects as they arise

Qualifications

• Proven ability to independently exercise sound judgment, prioritize appropriately, show initiative and problem solve

• Capable of building strong relationships with other individuals and departments in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals

• High degree of flexibility and adaptability; including the ability to work outside of regular business hours

• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with little supervision

• Outstanding planning and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Respect for confidentiality and discretion to properly handle sensitive information

• Ability to confidently interface with executive-level contacts inside and outside the company

• A “can-do” attitude that focuses on getting the job done in a highly collaborative and positive way

• Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues that are located in different time zones

• 4+ years relevant work experience supporting a complex and dynamic environment

• Proven competency using MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills

• Passionate about PayPal with a strong understanding of our brand and mission

• Ability to travel between San Francisco and San Jose offices

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
